Overview

Our beginner’s investing course is focused on teaching you the basics of investing in stocks and valuing companies based on their fundamentals. Understanding how a company’s financials, competition, and operations impact their bottom line and valuation is a key skill for any good investor. We’ll take you from the basics of asset classes and financial statements, all the way through to portfolio management and risk mitigation.

While this course starts with beginner level topics, intermediate and even experienced investors are encouraged to join as there are several advanced topics covered later in the course.

Course Structure

The course will take place over 7 weeks. Each week will have a new chapter that includes an hour-long live lecture and some reading content. We want this to be practical and useful for you, so there will be plenty of real life examples and opportunities to apply what you have learned. The end of the course will feature a project where you can apply what you have learned. Along with the weekly lecture there will be time for Q&A.
